gets tired of saying them. Susan's first position in mortgage lending was with Home Savings of America, where she learned the importance of consumer counseling and education about the loan process. After helping a Cambodian refugee family get approved for a loan to buy a very modest home, she realized that her work could make a difference in people's lives and put them on a road to stability. |
"I felt then, and still believe, that being a mortgage loan officer is a calling," Susan says. "By using the bank's money, we can make a difference in the lives of deserving people."
Now, over 30 years later, Susan is putting her empathy, devotion to service, and experience to helping seniors have a retirement of dignity and financial peace of mind. Susan is now exclusively working with reverse mortgages.
Susan is in the process of obtaining her Certified Reverse Mortgage Specialist designation. Susan is passionate about sewing and makes most of her clothing. When not kayaking on the lovely rivers of Florida's Nature Coast, she is enjoying seafood so fresh that it has literally jumped from the waters of the Gulf of Mexico onto her plate.
